Sleepy's Most Wanted (Roosevelt Dimes)

After having searched through $7,110 worth of dimes, I figured I'd get a Whitman Coin book (1946-1964 Dimes). I'm going to make it my goal to fill it by the end of the year! To the right is my "Most Wanted" List to help keep track of my progress. I want all of my finds to be from CRHing, so I won't be purchasing any of them. Here goes nothing! :headbang: 1)1955

Well, it's been a long time since I've been able to hunt. Sometimes life brings a tidal wave of stuff at you and you don't even have time for your hobbies. Anyway, I was able to hunt today! So excited to jump back in. I can already tell though, that it's going to be tough to hunt over the next couple months. I'll get in what I can...

Probably shouldn't have got any coins today as I have plenty of stuff that needs to get done before Monday, but you know how it goes...

Tough totals here lately, but gotta get the priorities done first. I'll have way more time to CRH in December, but after running our personal finances I'm projecting that we'll have to start dipping into the CRHing funds around that time. :angry7: We will be leaving our hometown in 2014 permanently for one of two jobs. I'm hoping to be an Air Force Officer, but if I don't get in, I will be working for an engineering company in the big city I was in this past summer. That engineering company wants me to start in January. If it's the USAF, I could be waiting around until May to join. I told my wife that we're going to have to bring in a little more income between now and the time I get a job in order to make ends meet.

Don't worry, I haven't lost sight of the finishing the Wanted List. We've just got some of that "life stuff" getting in the way right now! :laughing7:

Kind of a bad pic on the obverse, but yeah, it's a '35.

I love finding the Mercs. I snagged a 35d a couple of weeks ago. Nice find!

Hey Sleepy, I've been trying to keep up with your finds, you seem to really be wittling down the list of need to finds, very cool! Can't wait to see you complete your list! Good luck! HH, Maverick.

I started CRHIng towards the end of June and have found two Mercs out of 38 silver dimes (the rest all Rosie's). 1916s and 1935d. I've been collecting since I was about 8, so if you count that (I don't, I separate my CRHING finds from my general collection) I'm just missing a handful of keys\semi-keys. As far as the Rosie's go, I have found 18 different date/mint marks of the silver variety. I have quite a long way to go to fill that album but I think I'm well on my way to surpass my goal of 50 silver dimes found before the end of the year. How's your Merc situation?
