It's a suspender clip! VERY cool type I haven't seen before!

I found all these and more on one particular site. I find them from time to time, but this site was loaded with them.

Here is a clip I found on 04-15-2020, and I have found NOTHING like it on this thread, or researching on the internet.

Anyone have any idea's of who might have made it, and when, or even where?

After cleaning, but in a different light:

The figure on the clip portrays a Police Man in an old uniform with a crowned helmet on his head, a long jacket with badge
and holding a billy-club in his right hand.

Anyone know of any references for dating these things?
