Last night I stepped outside and turned on my metal detector for the last 30 minutes of light. I found a nice Confederate Civil War Zouave uniform coat button. One individual who grew up in the cabin I am trying to locate was said to have died on his way to battle in 1861. Most Confederate Zouave units had phased out by 1861 so the button is likely from this soldier or his family. You can read "EXTRA RICH" on the back clear as day. Found in Anderson community, Caswell County, NC.

I don't think I made my point very well, not great with writing stuff. The impression this will give to people googling is that this back-mark of button was used by the Zouave which adds to the myth & adds value to those scamming on ebay. Make sense now?
Not really, unless you,re some kind of E-bay price policeman. This would be akin to me questioning your many finds from England,I have no real standing or knowledge to do so,other than to give you a way to go guy, which I usually do.Any body who buys on E-bay is well aware of the risk they run when buying. It,s not your place to sow doubt by downplaying someone,s find here. You,re right, you didn,t and still don,t make your point very well.
