I think that going to be a tough sale considering the cost is about $1600.00 more than the ATX and $2000.00 more you can own a 5000. WOW!!!

It is all just consumer choices. Like buying a car. Inexpensive, middle ground, very expensive - they all drive you down the road. ATX, SDC, GPX - they will all find gold. Put an 8" mono on all three and it is the ground and operator that will make the biggest difference. People are going to obsess over the nitty gritty details but at the end if the day it is splitting hairs. Some people will buy a Chevy and some a Toyota and detectors are no different.
