Your Hard Work = Respect for Metal Detecting

I was out today hunting at a small local lake here in central Oklahoma, working around the boat ramps, it was only my 2nd time ever metal detecting. A man approached asking if I had found anything interesting. He went on to say that several months back he was surprised when a guy contacted him to return a valuable class ring that he had lost several years ago. Apparently another MD enthusiast had found and returned this guys ring. I hope I get the chance to pay-it-forward down the road, he was really very happy to have his ring back.
