I walked straight to this little palm sized gem as though I already knew where it was; In the middle of the desert. It was in a small dirt pile........Go figure........

Sooooo.... to sum up-

You found a rock in a dirt pile in the middle of the desert.... and this is why you think dowsing doesn't work?

I don't get it. ???

Excuse the confusion on my part.........It was a rather magnetic experience...... I have dowsed for years and found one Spanish dig after the other, on land that belonged to someone else. Anyway I don't use a willow anymore; it's just plain magnetic. This little guy was 40 feet away from a hidden rock sealed shaft, 18 inches under the sand.

OK, you found a rock in an 18 inch pile of sand. Got that.

I must be missing something. For some reason you think this rock is special?

And why post in the "Dowsing doesn't work" forum?

jeffro... I think he's saying... "Look what I found" and "now tell me why you think it DOSNT work, when I can show you proof..."

Capt'n Zesty Plasticsword

I'd really have to see the process be successful in controlled environs.

Thats why I did my OWN experiment in map dowsing... we'll see... confidence is low.

Maybe I'll take a willow branch or coat hangers on my next hunt... see what happens.

Maybe I'll find a rock with a stick... :o

Maybe I'll find a BUTTON with a stick! Then I'll be convinced...

Yes, the point is I didn't use any kind of wand. I was pulled to it like a magnet. In the sand was a rock covered vertical shaft, leading down into a Spanish gold mine. The property owner caught me and my buds digging at the main entrance nearby and threatened to have us lock up. The point is, if you have the gift, good for you. Twisted

"have the gift"? What is that? like some sort of psychic ability that some have, and some don't?

Funny, when I go to the desert to pick up rocks I do it without any of those things. I simply walk out and pick up rocks. Weird eh?

I will say it again, I must be missing something. Why exactly do you need divine intervention to pick up rocks in the desert?

The big mamas like daddy a certain way ok. There is dirt and then there are mother lodes.

Why is this rock special, Twisted Fork? I'm pretty sure that is all Jeffro is asking. Also, what sort of magnetic field was it emitting that you "perceived" that led you to it? What is the significance of the find?

Why that's it indeed.....When a Don's crew secured a mine site closing everything up before the trip home, a system of marker stone were installed and maintained so that if mayhem took their lives leaving the site, another Mason brother could come along after him and locate the dig according to the code of the brotherhood. The individual marker stone for each portal was hand made of pieces from the first contact of the motherlode, at the edge of turning pure visible gold. The stone pictured above, was laid in position to mark off the hidden entrance to a vertical production shaft that drops straight down on to the gold. As a bird of prey drops out of the sky in stealth, this is how the highest of Knights takes his victim. In the legend sequence used through the Masonic lore, the mine is referenced by the Knight, the dragon and his lair. The dragon is 80 feet long and the knight is waiting in the shadows with his blade. At this mine site, they placed a cut semi circled stone made in the shape of a pirate's eye patch, set into a matching stone socket that drops straight down into the heart of gold. The little eagle stone was in hiding, positioned on the burro trail at a point just inside the tree line, at a point just visible from an eagle's hunting perch high on the cliff above. The mine shaft aside it is eighty feet deep, and to gain entrance to it you had to stab a sword into the sandy seal and lift it away; thus the Spanish term "knife to heart". Twisted

This is kinda like masturbating with sand paper- a little fun, but mostly just painful!
OK, I ain't goin' there.... good luck! :o

Sandpaper? You mean a sandblaster. We got caught by the land owner and have to suffer not having the real thing. Truly Twisted

Uh yeah ok, well I like music.....The rest is a crock.........Im glad you found a cool rock in a pile of sand...hey I have walked stream beds, and found fossils to.....Just got lucky tho....

You underestimate the importance of you're existence bro. Was it your name that was on that rock or fossil or that of someone else. What would have changed if your neighbor found it instead? You and the people you share your finds with are effected by the experience; do you believe that creation is a myth? I believe that every little breath that we take is under the guide of a greater power. No matter how large or how small, each of us walk with purpose.
