You never know what you'll find on the beach

I searched a part of the beach where wrecks are known to have happened off shore, typically there are more fishermen here than sunbathers. I have found square nails here and copper spikes before, still looking for the gold or silver coin. Scrooge

no all wrecks were treasure wrecks (most vessels were plain old "trade" vessels -----but looking at any wrecksite is a good way to find treasure --and even if not a big money treasure wreck normally most ships carried some money --so theres always a chance of finding a goodie or two --maybe a whiole buncha them -- good reseach helps greatly in finding likely high dollar wreck areas to hunt --- Ivan

Get out there after a huge storm and see what the tides can bring up to the shore. Nice artifact, definitely looks like a square nail from a shipwreck judging by the bent shape. GL
