ITS BEEN ALONG TIME SINCE I HAVE BEEN DETECTING AND THE TIMES THAT I HAVE ,THERE HAS BEEN NOTHING TO SHOW. EITHER I DONT KNOW WHAT IM DOING WITH THE MXT PRO OR IM NOT AT A GOOD SITE. AS YOU ALL KNOW I HAVE GIVEN MY SHARE OF THUMBS UP ON LOTS OF NEET FINDS THAT HAVE BEEN SHOWN ON TNET. WELL TODAY GOT UP OFF ARS AND WENT TO A PREVIOUS SITE AND AFTER 2 HOURS I WAS BUMMED TO THE HILT. AS I WAS PACKING IT IN THE DETECTOR SLAMMED THE 80S VDI AND I SAID I KNOW OLE SODA BUT LORD BEHOLD OUT POPPED A BIG OLE LARGE CENT THAT I CANT READ THE DATE AND COUPLE MINUTES LATER A REALLY NEET WHAT LOOKS LIKE A SILVER BUCKLE SMALL BUT NEET. CANT SHOW PICS UNTIL I FIND MY CAMERA SO ALL I HAVE IS THIS STORY. FOUND SOME NEET POTTERY SHERDS BUT OVERALL GOOD DAY OH AND A NEET LOOKING COPPER SALT SHAKER SMASHED BUT VERY OLD . IM DONE AND WHEN I FIND CAMERA I WILL POST> SO MODERATOR IF YOU HAVE TO BOOT THIS POST I UNDERSTAND.

Thumping that detector worked for ya!
As for all caps, i greatly appreciate it! Makes it easier for me to read!

Spelling...if it wasn't for auto correct (which has a sadistic sense of humor...won't spell "sadistic" whats that tell ta!) you guys would a be wondering if a dog was chewing on my keyboard!

If there was one invention that I'm impressed with is the "Auto Correct" :notworthy:

never ....never.....NEVER.....give up and have a fresh set of batteries...always pays off....

Congrats Sut-I know you must have been stoked when you found not one but TWO excellent relics. Thanks for all of your positive comments to others' posts and keep 'em coming-we appreciate it.

Yep, that has been absolutely what I have found to be true, also. Every once in a while...I just HAVE to get up off my brains, and go for a walk!
Always works!

Congrats on getting out and for finding a couple wonderful finds!

I think its great that your time has paid off. I will tell you once you break that ice, your going to be seeing more and more finds! Now you have the confidence and know its down there, go get it!

Congrats Sutphin! Those are some first-class finds and I'll look forward to seeing them when you get the chance to post them up.

GREAT JOB BUDDY!!!! PSYCHED YOU PUSHED THRU THE DRY SPELL AND NAILED SOME KEEPERS. I WOULD CHOP MY PINKY OFF FOR A NICE SILVER BUCKLE. CANNOT WAIT TO GET MY EYES ON IT BROTHER. THIS ALL CAPS POST IS IN HONOR OF YOUR GREAT DAY! SUPER HAPPY FOR YOU MY GOOD MAN

Very well done my man. Glad that you are getting out there for a bit of hunting, and finding some goodies.

We all look forward to the pictures.

Best of luck to you!

Sounds like an awesome hunt brother! Congrats on some cool finds !

I'll prefer to see the silver buckle, as its 10 times rarer.

Pictures please?

It would be about 400x more rare for me. Found hundreds of Largies and about 25 shoe buckles but never sniffed a piece of a silver one

YAY SUT! LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOUR GOODIES. Sub 8-)

I agree. Out of like six years or so in many old spots i only fluked out and got a silver knee buckle. Even the regular shoe buckles are hard to come across for me!

Nicely done! You got one that I someday want to find, too.

Solid silver buckle has basically crept up close to the top of my list. After finding so many shoe buckles I feel like I must be due at some point
