You might live in a country founded by geniuses but run by idiots.

Only people I have seen wearing "bedsheets" are Klan members and little kids dressed as ghosts for Halloween.

Burqa/Hijab is not a bedsheet.

Refuse to get into silly semantics with you.

Pass.

Don't go getting all sweaty patting each other on the back, now.

I don't think I need to explain why referring to religious garb as "bedsheets" goes beyond semantics.

Please refer to post #13.

You guys are short sighted and have a short memory, so I need to post your problems for you to read, again.
I refer you to your post # 10, where you called something a bedsheet that might have had a real name for many democrats like Byrd. And then you drew a distinction that some bedsheets have names,, which side of your argument do you want to play on? Wrestling with semantics, giving names to some type of clothing? The problem is that you do not understand what you are doing and then accuse people of doing that.

I do like it though. Posting the authors 2 or 3 positions at once!

I have to add this, PLEASE don't leave!!! We need to see a real world example of the BO doctrine! Want an example of that?
Flashback: 2006?Senator Obama Voted NO on Raising the Debt Ceiling « The Greenroom

I know you won't believe it, please look it up?

Does this count as an insult? "You guys are short sighted and have a short memory, so I need to post your problems for you to read, again."

Any moderator can answer. I seek only knowledge so that myself and others will have examples of what is and is not allowable. Consider it a metaphor the Supreme Court reviewing a case that involves the constitution.

dennco :occasion14: Hmm... so im not really as crazy as gfriend says, there are like minded others out there :icon_thumright:

Are you insulted? Do you feel it was directed at you in any way? Should I show you where the posts are that pertain to this one?

No saying someone is short sighted and has a short memory isn't considered an insult by me, any more than saying you guys are naive and guliable when it comes to bo..

Thank you for clarifying. Now we know that calling somebody short sighted, short memory, naive, and gulliable is acceptable in the forum. I hope I do not have the opportunity to address somebody as such but I will remember that it is allowed.

Well, in your maneuvering, you did take it out of context.

It's hillarious how short sighted, short memory, naive, and gulliable the Lib's are!!! :laughing7:

The thing that I find hilarious about the "debt deal" is the fact that the libs are so short sighted, naïve, and power drunk that they don't realize that the Republicans just handed them the rope they are going to hang themselves with.

The whole debt ceiling process just went from having to vote to RAISE the debt ceiling to now being a vote to NOT RAISE the debt ceiling. So in other words, if there is not a majority vote to NOT raise the debt ceiling, the increase is automatic.

The repubs just basically gave the dems carte blanch to do as they please on the debt ceiling. So WHO is going to own the future debt? Any body want to guess how far taxes are going to go up as part of the debt be raised?

Hold on to what you hot people, we're in for a hell of a ride and it ain't gonna be nice.

Remember there are 4 other mods here who may disagree, and what is allowed today may not be allowed next week...........

The context it is used in and the way moderators interpret it's use is what is the deciding factor. What a member sees as an insult a moderator may not and what a moderator sees as an insult a member may not, the final call is what the moderators see......
