So I decided to take a trip to the cashiers office here at work today to see if she had any wheat pennies or silver coins in her stash..
and she says,
"you know a long time ago when I was a kid, I found this gold looking coin in a field near my mothers house that she owned. It was so shiny after we wiped the dirt off of it and had a date on it from the 1800's. One of the neighbors heard about it and gave me $35 dollars for it "
Her mother has just sold the land and it has been subdivided but not built on yet. Hopefully I can find the new owners this weekend
