I encountered 2-3" of frozen ground and ended up with blisters on the palm of my digging hand. All I got was clad, but it was great to get out and hunt!

You bet,I have a little two an a half footer lol it works great you need to hunt in the woods the frost line is a lot thinner do to the trees turn out to be a great day seeing were sapposed to get two feet of snow : (
