This morning i hunted the fields again , my son was on the potato truck following along side the digger rig you can see the truck way off in the distance to the left of the wire tower they got 3 truck loads of russets today .so i followed the rows each one is almost a mile long round trip , not much today a old silver plated utensil handle ,a stone Indian paint pot red as kids we used to find those everywhere not many left i guess , a nice old spent lead bullet it hit something , and a chunk of lead ,a piece of old pottery and a AC CICO head off a spark plug i looked it up they used those in the 1912 Model T Fords , best part of the hunt was the owner of all the land came out on the field to see what i have found lately he heard from old Johnnie the potato farmer that i found Captain Kids buried treasure 
after 10 minutes of convincing him that i did not find treasure he laughed to and said wait till i see that old scoundrel John , plus he said i could MD his really old farm house one day if i show him all my finds 
he was telling me when he was a kid they would find coins and arrow heads everywhere in the fields just by eye you bet i did not turn that down. HH Jim
