I moved this post from "My Area-Virginia" to here, so folks can see the excellent finds deyo71 found.

I know a lot of the hunters here find them and artifacts. Very nice. What type are they?

I miss finding sharks teeth at the beach. But to find them with arrowheads would even be better.

along the banks of York river, Grandview beach(Chesapeake bay) , most of my shark teeth come from inside the refinery in Yorktown. the dredged the York river to build firewalls for the tank farm. found all kinds of fossil, teeth, stone tools and some stuff I havent figured out yet? lots of extinct shells and coral. not to mention there is civil war campsites and squirmish sites. its hard fo work sometimes. the place is a treasure trove

Those are great finds, we would love to see more from that area.

thanks for the comment.I've got a ton of finds and no one to show . most people dont appreciate like we do. working long hours and trying to get familiar with treasure net . this is cool

some great white, tiger, and one megladon. gonna look this weekend. thanks for commenting. I hear for every inch of a shark tooth, equals 10 feet of shark. anything 6 inches or more are a great prize.

that was great hunt
and then a big blade yet

believe it or not i have a sharks tooth that i found on a hill right north of bismarck, north dakota

thanks to all it's good to check the site and have comments. everyone loves mail. big plans tomorrow after a little research.hopefully I will have a treasure to share.
