Man the holidays have been busy, manged to get out yesterday with ray for a hunt hosted by my buddy Matt. Thanks for having us Bud!
We had a good time I scored my share of lead and very little brass a few flat buttons a henery casing, d buckle and a borman frag.
I got some sharps carbines a few 45s some 3 ringers (star bases) a few fired bullets a round ball and an unknown bullet to me (all my books are packed up now :( any help on this one would be appreciated. It is pictured with a 3 ringer for size reference. It is close to .50 cal.

Also a neat shot of a few melted bullets i dug yesterday.

Good to dig before the end of the year

Fantastic hunt James!

Sweeeet finds!!

Thanks fellas happy new year

Nice group of bullets. I think you have a 577 enfield. I don't have my books with me. Looks like you have a nice Merril carbine between the sharps and the henry. I would be working this site a few more times.

Happy new year, Les

No its not an enfield. Its actually a pretty rare. 50 cal. Pickett variety billet. There are also no Merills in the mix. Thanks for the reply
