Sorry for the 2nd post but I hastily posted today's score and forgot about what I bough yesterday:

-RV power cord molded set (20 or 25 foot) - brand new - $10
-Sprint HTC Evo 4G phone - $8

The cord should bring $40-50 and the phone $60-75.

Picked these up on my way to Philly. I took the back back back way through the woods (instead of taking highways) and I saw this sale on a quiet road in the middle of nowhere. Glad I stopped!

Nice find on the RV cord. Would work well on my pup camper. I just spent $160 on extension cords this past week for a job I'm doing.
How do you know if the cell phones will work if/when you buy them? I'm leary of them and never buy them. Just wondering.

I just bought a used Android off Ebay to replace the new one I bought a few months ago. The new one is a better phone, but the screen was just too small for me, so I gave it to the wife and bought one like I used to have before I trashed it at the beach while detecting.

I have been buying a lot more electronics lately (because it seems the profit margin is pretty decent). As people "outgrow" their high end electronics, they upgrade in 1-2 years. You are talking about a retail phone that would be $500 when new (non subsidized) going for 8 bucks at a garage sale. It seems as though there is a healthy market for these second hand high end "upgrades" in other countries.

What I do is ask them if it works, what is wrong with it, and why they are selling it. I will be honest and say that I have been burned more than once but even then, I can still list the broken non working stuff "for parts or repair only". It will sell for much less but it will still sell (most likely for a small profit).

Nice pick on the RV cord. At that price it's a no-brainer. Recently bought one at estate sale from a no-brainer for $3.50....
