Yesterday, my "best day ever" - no "foolin" !!!

Wow, two major firsts(one of them twice), my second 2-silver day, and I didn't even break the 1900 barrier - but I was close. I also had a 1936 & 1946 wheat. Coins from top to bottom -

1901 IH penny, bright green but all four diamonds !!

Two buffalo nickels(never got one before) - 1917 & 1918, don't see any mint marks.

1905 V nickel (also a first)

two mercs, 1944 & 1942, both from the "S" mint.

All told, I would have to call it an amazing day, tomorrow I get to take my huntin buddy MD shopping, he's pretty sure it'll be an ace250. What a great week !!!!

Really nice finds!! I envy all you who find old coins like that! The oldest I found was a 1920 canadian half dime & 2 merc 1930's

That is a GREAT day. Nice variety. Sounds like a real honey hole if that all came from one spot! GL breaking 1900 soon if you meant that you have yet to. 8)

very nice finds , looking to find some old pennys and my first merc this year, i've had the pleasure of finding a 1902 v nickle ! but hope to find more , congrats on your finds
