✅ SOLVED Yellow golden rock

Clear in places with hardened solid dusty golden color. Couldn't find it in book or on line. Any guesses?

It's just a form of impure quartz. I find them here in PA all the time.

Yeah, it is quartz, found in a lot of places. It is kind of a neat find if you found it where you are...

Polish it. Quartz always looks nice after it's polished. Actually, I have a friend who sells larger chunks (talking like 20-50 lb) to landscapers and people looking to enhance their gardens or backyards.

Yup quartz alright. I save some that I find MD'ing have a very nice crystal clear quarts that is 28lbs.

It would be easy to see which of us is right, it appears to be quartz to me but it very well could be agate. Smash one of them; quartz fractures into shards, agate crumbles.

Actually you all are right.........
Varieties of quartz include chalcedony, agate, jasper, clear quartz, rose quartz, smokey quartz, amethyst, citrine, plus many others.
