Found this at a yard sale with some old tools. I grabbed it up for a few bucks because I really liked the look of it but I'm not sure what it is. After some research I have an idea but I want to see what you guys think before I put anything in your heads. Thanks for the help!

Many of the old ones will have Japanese markings on either the bottom of the handle or on the metal hook.
