The weather today was too nice to pass up, sunny and a comfortably warm 48 degrees.

I rescued this poor girl, 1837 that has seen some miles.

This is why I'd rather dig an indian head at this site than silver, the patina can be awesome. I found this and the 1882 in the same hole a few feet from the large cent.

I have to admit, I was having silver withdrawal symtoms the last two days so this gave me a quick fix.

Hey Charles. Sweet finds. I'm drooling on that IH. Amazing. We have one site that is nice to our coins but all we find at it are wheat pennies. We take what we can get.
