Yes ,that is the wings of a true hero , door gunners were the baddest and most psycho of the air crew . The belly turret gunner had the biggest brass ones . Talk about courage under fire . Met a B-17 door gunner , he adjusted well to civilian life after 30 deadly missions over Germany .
