I worked hard for these...I'm grateful to get the time in before the storms rolled through...10 hrs. total Hunt time today. Three different places. I went freestyle today, since my wife had a henna gig at texas ale project. Got to brewery about 1045am., got her stuff setup, pulled up my research and marked spots that were nearby, on Google earth. First, I went to an old park I've hit before and did well. 30 mins.into it, I find myself surrounded by a mass of little leaguers...exit stage left. Next place was an old lake, campgrounds. The rest of my hunt time went into this site. Digging mostly clad...working my way towards where I scored silver last time i was here. Bam! 2 wheaties same hole. Transform into grid monster....slow, taking small bites, 100 sq. Ft at a time. Eyeballed the sterling chain about 5 ft away while digging a target. No marks on the dramatics pendant, but tests pos. for silver...quite certain it is. 2 mercs, 1 rosie, Other items: 17 wheaties, cub scouts pin, key, button, my first clay marble, vintage kids bullet ring, clad and junk.
But, I think the find of the day was the WWI USMC dog tag...
Sorry to ramble on...I'm kinda celebrating.:occasion14::occasion18::wink::tongue3::happy3:
