Hello to all,

My name is Therry and I live in Eastern PA. Grew up in France where I did some relic hunting on WWI battlefields. Haven't done any since moving back to the States 30 years ago but I'm open to start again... Currently I'm specialising in the History of the AEF with an emphasis on the battle of Belleau Wood and researching the over 1700 temporary American cemeteries established during and immediately following the end of the hostilities. This research has made me branch out into collecting portraits of American soldiers and marines buried in the 8 permanent cemeteries overseas.

I am always seeking advice and would appreciate any help the forum members can offer. I will of course share some of my old finds with you...

thanks,

Therry/boisbelleau

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Pennsylvania for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome! Glad to see someone from France!

This particular link from "Find A Grave", lists WWI soldiers interned in European & American cemeteries. If you Google WWI European cemeteries, you will be able to click on individual cemeteries listed on Find A Grave. Cemetery of WWI Dead and Missing Hopefully, this will help you more on your research.
