They do have value- if a family member searches for it. That's how I was able to get some of my grandfather's wwii effects back in the family. Otherwise, I have no idea what they would go for. Good luck!
 

I don't believe they are worth anything on the open market. Every officer has those types of papers. The Distinguished Flying Cross is a medal of pretty high distinction.
My 93 year old Dad is a 3 war vet ( WWII, Korea, Viet Nam) Navy fighter pilot. Has all the same stuff including the DFC. That is going to be preserved for the family. I don't know why anyone would sell that type of family history.
