48", I did drill 1/4" holes between all the larger holes, all perfectly centered and inline. It made it drain alot faster!
They are ultra tough scoops. Weight is a little under 6 pounds. Very high quality polished stainless and perfect welds. The handle floats (it is sealed via 2 epoxied fiberglass plugs) and they have a 10" long fiberglass inner core reinforcement in the handle near the bottom attachment screws. Works great in rocks, gravel, hard bottom, sand, etc.
