Congrats on the IH. I haen't found one in the past 242,748 pennies searched. Or longer. I have 2 for the year, but both came within three weeks of starting CRH, and since then, and since i got my ryedale? No IHs.

They are there though. You just proved it. :-) Good job.

Good job Zartan! I found my first Indian Head after about 25,000 pennies searched. I can't guarantee much, but I can guarantee if you keep searching, you'll find them! Happy Hunting!!

Fantastic Zartan! Those IH cents are not your typical find. My last one (1903) was in 2002. Keep at it and good luck!

Excellent find ZT! Glad to hear that you are enjoying CRH'ing. It is a fun hobby.

I have searched cents in the past and never have found an IH so I am still headless....so to speak.....ha!

Keep plugging and you will come across many goodies just waiting to be retired......good luck.

Happy Holidays

I found my sixth Indian Head this year two weeks ago. It was an 1898. I usually find two or three a year, but six is definitely more than usual. I don't know where they are all coming from. I found my first one in January, 1978, a 1901. Since then, I've found close to 100. The oldest is 1865, plus I found a Civil War token about ten years ago.
