I found this old rim and have looked and looked for what it might have went to any one have an idea?

Not sure what it is, it looks pretty cool. Does it have any writing on it ? It looks like it says oil on it on the top picture, it might be a clue.

The only writing on it say oil l. Thanks every one for the thoughts I will let you know if I find the exact thing it goes to.
