I just put up a large estate pipe lot, 2nd highest $ value item I have ever sold on ebay. The auction is currently 14 hours old and I already have 2 bids. So I decided to take a look at this guy's feedback he leaves for other people, and it seems to be filled with smart ass remarks and negs, msentreprises. He even complains about the time it takes to be delivered, and he lives in Canada. I have shipped 1st class mail items to Canada that have taken 2 weeks, this entire pipe lot is huge and will need two big heavy packages. He has left feedback like, every pipe broken threw them all away. He complains about being overcharged for shipping constantly and a lot of, thanks for the refund feedbacks.

Seems like a born complainer that I should avoid.

I have never blocked a bidder while the auction was going on, if I put him on my block list will it automatically remove his bids?

Looks like I need to block him then have his bids retracted. Ah well more fun on ebay.

Well I got his bids retracted and blocked him, and messaged the other bidder. Normally I wouldn't care about smaller less expensive items but I can't risk any problems with this auction.

I absolutely would not. I had a clown sending me messages and nit picking every detail of an item I had up. He kept messaging me how he had just purchased the same thing only in much better condition for much less and I was never going to get asking price. I told him to make an offer. He did and it was a reasonable offer, but I had checked his feedback. He had 95 all positive. Checked his feedback left for others and he had only left a few, all negatives.

I pulled the listing, blocked him and relisted.

I'm sure he was extorting or ripping off sellers. In fact I just checked his profile again and I see he is no longer a registered user and all his feedback left others has been deleted. It is people like this why feedback should not be left for a buyer just because they paid immediately. How are you going to report a buyer when you have left them a positive already?

This is exactly why I wait 2 - 3 weeks before leaving feedback for a buyer - unless they have left positive feedback for me first. I want to make sure they have plenty of time to get the item and contact me if there are any problems. If they turn into a pain in the ass, they will get no feedback from me.

I don't have a problem with folks who wait a few weeks to give me feedback, it's the ones who refuse until I leave them feedback that I despise.
