no concert is worth that kind of money, call me cheap, but back when I was going to concerts it was for $7-$10 and you saw 3 bands back in the 70's and early 80's
I might have a 7.50 stub somewhere. Cheap Trick concert maybe.
Or Pat Benatar or Ted Nugent or...

Did see ZZ Top and Willy Nelson since those cheaper days.
They were not a thousand dollar tickets though!

This has to be legalized scalper prices. And it's Canadian dollars . It seems hard for anyone to buy tickets at original prices anymore .

I don’t want to see her or hear her. She has no redeeming qualities IMO.
I’d rather give the money to a charitable cause. Maybe help someone recover from a bad situation.
She has enough lipstick money already. She won’t need mine. 👄

Controlled algorithms buy up the tickets.

It's like a lottery for the average person to get a couple.

She has done more damage to society than what can be repaired.
The sad part is, it shows how sick society is really.

in 1997 to 1998 i got phish tickets right in the middle, 15 rows back from the stage on the floor. 35$ a ticket. i have no idea how my mom got them from ticketmaster.

Those prices are now small venue.
We have something called Small Halls.
Venues that hold around a 100 or so in a local community hall.

Not familiar with the band Phish, interesting music though.

That would be a HELL NO from me. No entertainer is worth that kind of money.
Nor does any dude that throws/catches/bounces/hits/kicks a ball for that matter.

When entertainers or in sport earn 100X what the
most important leader gets it's just messed up in values.

I don't give them any of my time even, as most of their values are not worthy.

Would I go? Nope.

I don't do crowds..period.

Ticketmaster is corrupt to the core. Blame them, not the scalpers. I tried to list a $180 ticket on their site a few months ago and was given an offer of $16 BEFORE I even finished the listing. How was that possible? Because Ticketmaster has a network of scalpers they're in bed with to maximize their profits. They were hoping I would sell to their personal scalper instead of trying to get what they were actually worth.

Another example. Tickets usually go on sale at 10 AM on the nose. By 10:05, Ticketmaster has hundreds of scalped tickets mixed in with the face value tickets on their site. Shouldn't be allowed, but the rules don't apply to them. Why someone doesn't shut them down is a mystery to me...
