Would you go, even if you could afford to go?

Ticketmaster is corrupt to the core. Blame them, not the scalpers. I tried to list a $180 ticket on their site a few months ago and was given an offer of $16 BEFORE I even finished the listing. How was that possible? Because Ticketmaster has a network of scalpers they're in bed with to maximize their profits. They were hoping I would sell to their personal scalper instead of trying to get what they were actually worth.

Another example. Tickets usually go on sale at 10 AM on the nose. By 10:05, Ticketmaster has hundreds of scalped tickets mixed in with the face value tickets on their site. Shouldn't be allowed, but the rules don't apply to them. Why someone doesn't shut them down is a mystery to me...
In Toronto they had a by-laws preventing scalpers selling
This was as good as the prostitutes walking the streets.
As soon as thus by-law was amended I knew of a few LEOs that retired and became resellers.
One lived in a multi $million part of The Old Mill.
He knew the system and that made him very financially successful.
Ticket stub, Ticket Master should be brought up in front if a corruption review.

Nor does any dude that throws/catches/bounces/hits/kicks a ball for that matter.

When entertainers or in sport earn 100X what the
most important leader gets it's just messed up in values.

I don't give them any of my time even, as most of their values are not worthy.
Agree. But the worlds become so stupid they hang off of every word they say and listen to their advice! It's idiotic.
An actor making millions a movie for just playing make believe.
Football player making millions a year for playing a game.
Singer making millions for singing a song.
Then they get on TV and the internet telling us how to live without petrol and meat whilst flying around the planet on private jets eating caviar!
Every one of them could disappear from the planet and nothing would change. A garbage truck driver is essential, Drs, Nurses, Police, Armed forces etc. These self absorbed non essentials are nothing in reality.
You know its ironic how a movie which when made was a comedy and you'd watch it and think yeah as if as you laughed at it. But its become the most prophetic movie of all time. Forget 1984 and stuff like that.
We are living this right now. All that's missing is watering crops with Gatorade, im expecting that soon! 😂

In high school four of us pooled our money and came up with a $1.63 bribe paid to the guy at the back door to let us in to see Ted Nugent, Alvin Lee, Be Bop Deluxe and Rush in 1976. He let us in and told us to hide under the stage until the show started then go find empty seats. I wouldn't pay that much to see her.

Well if I did, there better be a little 'backstage action' going on. Well a whole lot for that price.
Even at THAT price there couldn't be ENOUGH ACTION to justify it...! But maybe I got "spoiled" earlier in life....? But let me help out ol' RGINN.... There won't be any or enough...! Stay home buddy... :laughing7:

it cost me maybe 10 bucks to see Led Zeppelin... they made money on album sales back then, concerts were just promotions for selling records. ...and no, never would I give multi-millionaires a nickel... especially that SOB Musk.

I assume you mean Elon Musk with above comment.... And if correct: (Sorry if wrong) What / why would that man charge anybody for toward entertainment...? He not an entertainer.

no, not an entertainer... just a mega-billionaire I would not in any way give a dime to.... like the rest of the mega wealthy, be they entertainers or not.

OK.... but I thought when you stated... "especially that SOB Musk." you had something against him and his wealth.

It's great to hear that you never order anything from Amazon.
Probably never buy a 2x4 from Home depot either.

no, not his wealth...his arrogance....I look at it like this... Bill Gates is the perfect example... He had the backing, the expertise, the partner, the ability, the background, The interest, the business sense, BUT... what he really needed... (AND he had)... was the Market need at the RIGHT TIME. He understood his luck, kept his head down and his mouth shut. The opposite of arrogance. I lived here (Redmond/Bellevue) as it started and blew up. I knew a lot of folk who worked for him and with him (still do)...I mortgaged my house and invested early on the advice of folk that were working for him. I watched the stock, split, split, go 3 for 2...etc... Everyone I knew loved the guy.

in other words.... not Musk

🤣Right, gates wants you to eat bugs and give up meat, bet he's popular at barbecues.
Bugs are the solution for climate change 🙄

When $$$ and things like this hang in the shadows.

$$$ and one's allegiance has always been closely knit.

I wouldn't go if I had free front row tickets and it was held across the street from my home.

Rent the spare bedroom and the garage out.

Premium parking spot In driveway.

Pitch a tent in the yard option.

$$$ seems to be no option with the fan base.
