I read alot of detecting slang/speak here like (WILVER ???)<<is silver I'm gathering but still not sure lol,TOT LOT(a playground i assume) and many others i cant think of at this moment. So my idea is for a thread that has definitions for these types of words/slang/detecting speak,I'm catching on slowly but surely.I think it will help myself as well as other newbies understand what the old timers in the know are saying..lol..just a thought ;D I did see one time a thread where i could of put this but ut seems to have certain times it runs.

I'm with ya on the "wilver", I figured it was an inside joke and I was on the outside. ???

but now that you mention it, there is a lot of tot lots, BH, MD, IMHO, and SLQ-ing going on around here that would confuse the newbies. But we had to learn it...I say figure it out or Walk The Plank! can't make everything easy! :)

UnEarthed72,

if we did that, the next thing you would
be asking about is the SECRET HANDSHAKE

;)

have a good un.......

I think "wilver" could be a typo. (error)..."s" is next to "w"

LMAO,I would'nt wanna go that far

This is a good idea. I don't send or receive text messages where things are shortned and those in the know understand what is being said. I remember years ago I wondered what "HH" meant in the posts too. We should however use the Spell Check once in a while along with some grammer. ???

Yea the spell check is pretty nice to have,i proof check most of my posts so everything is legible and i get no flack if i spelled dog wrong.lol.

Oh no,.....not the Handshake, I sure hope we won't have to change that. I was just starting to get good at it.

Getting serious: The dogs well be home tomorrow. Repete. The dogs will be home tomorrow.

HH and LOTS of WILVER to ya. Bluezman

"the secret handshake" only the masons know---that one---and they ain't telling--hh is happy hunting ---btw ( by the way) wilver is just wat dat wasky wabbit would say---

I agree. There are a lot of "short cuts" and I end up having to ask somebody "Huh? What's that mean?"

The secret Handshake is a "secret"...so we can't say what it is ::)

I guess this is a bad time to bring up "squirrel bait"?!?!

I got about 40 hits on "wilver" off the forum so it ain't no typo. I'm pretty sure we ought to notify the NTSB that a subversive splinter cell is operating here and passing information via these threads. :o

Funny thing is it's limited to eight members. Dispatch the black helicopters immediately.

A bunny with a pancake on it's head?

I agree with the wilver (kids will be kids) and the bunny is always right on cue.

Wrong bunny, guys!

I admit I dont undersatand all the abbreviations either. Whan I first learned the computer and found TN, I thought HH was a secret club greeting from admirers of the Third Reich. :D :-[ :-[
