It says: If Found Send To U.B. PM For Mailing Instructions
It is beautiful though. Nice find!

1654 might be a good date for the elaborate script, styling of the marginal
decoration. Pretty old, restore it carefully, where you think needs it the most!
My guess it is of a Fraternal Society badge, and that organization had meetings in....
OAK ISLAND...! :laughing7:

It’s a Masonic ‘Jewel’ (badge). At the bottom it says “G.U.O. of O.F." which is for the “Grand United Order of Odd Fellows”. Can’t be completely certain if it says “Fisherville Lodge” at the top but, if it does then I would guess it probably relates to the Masonic Temple in Fisherville, Kentucky.

There was also a Fisherville lodge in Texas.

Found some tidbits that may help ? Tried to read it, and I may very well be imagining Nashville ? :

Lodge Dispensation 1874 ... Nashville #1654
Incorporporated 1878 ... Grand United Order of Odd Fellows, #1654 ... Davidson Co. Tennessee

I think I was seeing #1654 insured as a (colored) lodge in Nashville (1907) and the number later assigned to Portsmouth, Virginia in 1941. Not quite sure, though.

Yes, this Forum is very helpful source of info and experience...!
TNet has helped me with id the Woman of Woodcraft "Token", that I found,
a year or so ago. It turned out to be part of a Delegate badge...!

CHALLENGE ! ha-ha

My first thought was, "Wow, Anduril likes words and would be fun to play Scrabble with."
Then I noticed you left the second s out ... challenge !
Then I tried to look it up, and failed ... but we both just saw it used as a word ?

That's when I realized the only solution would be to fling the board in the air and settle it outside with broomsticks.

I think the safe thing is that we forget we ever saw that word, because it's only going to get us in trouble if we ever do try to use it. LOL
