Unusual piece my wife found yesterday. We still have no clue what it is from or what it is for --- when used properly. I do know what it was used for yesterday before she found it, but that's a story for after I find out what it is for.

It appears to have been square at one time.

It isn't magnetic, so I would guess aluminum . . . but could be something else.

Dimensions: 1.25 inches along each leg. Each leg is 1/4" wide and 3/16" thick.

Images are the best I could do this evening. Thanks for looking.

The screens in my house windows have corners like that. They are made of pot metal.

Looks like Kray did nail it.
About 1-1/4" long on each side for screens and if longer, for windows.

The circular depressions line up with where the machine would press the extruded aluminum to this pot metal piece with "dimples".

When your "mark" has parked their car in a spot where they have no choice but to back up to leave, place the above item behind the front tire on passenger side as per this image. They made sure it was centered in the groove between the tread blocks to minimize visibility.

When the "mark" backs up, the asphalt will not give, thus forcing the upright section through the tire.

Just one more item against the individual who has been harassing my wife for over a decade. The only 2 things protecting him are (1) she doesn't want me to hurt her brother who runs a home repair business and (2) "For we know the One who said: 'Vengence is mine, I will repay.' . . . It is a fearful thing to fall in to the hands of the living God." (Heb. 10:30)

Anything that I might do would only be temporary, and wouldn't fix the problem. It would just exchange one problem for a host of others.

Deliberate sabotage?! What an ___ h___. I'd be tempted too, but it sounds like you've got your head, and heart, where it needs to be.

Worked for the guy in 2000 for about 6 months as a carpenter / sheetrock hanger / plumber / electrician / roofer / etc. When the job was complete, I was supposed to get paid --- by him after the homeowner paid him. Instead, he went out and bought a truck with my money. Funny part is, he tried to "fix" something he thought was wrong with the truck, and it ended up a yard ornament. Even a real mechanic couldn't fix whatever he did. So, I guess it worked out. That's why I went back into the business I'm in --- debt collecting / skip tracing.

Moral of the story? Even when your wife and mother-in-law are witnesses, never go into business with an in-law without a written contract. Otherwise, they usually turn into outlaws.
