Would like some help with old treasure stories

I would like to know if any of you have any stories and legends that you would email to me, as i am trying to gather different items from different versions of stories, to research them down to a couple of leads. Please email them to perfectshots @ suddenlink.net Thanks, Bill

I would recommend this forum and others (keep your eyes peeled for research and clues). How about trying:

http://www.losttreasure.com
http://www.treasurefish.com/arkansas metal detecting.htm

Those will give you some other ideas and links. Keep building on that and use them as an entry point to research. You can also read a paperback available at Amazon.com or metal detecting web sites called

Buried Treasures You Can Find, Over 7500 Locations In All 50 States, by Robert F. Marx. Some of the information is very basic and assumes you will research to get the whole story.

The bottom line: Do your research! The more you research, the better information you have to select legal sites to detect. I am depressed because we have too many laws anymore. Before long we will not be able to do anything unless "We The People" act now to take back our country from those that want to control everything we do.

Sincerely,
