Hi all
I found this 1 gallon Zerolene Oil can a couple of months ago while working under the floor of an old church built in 1906. as you can see it is not in real good shape but is readable on the front and two side. The back is covered in oil and dirt from laying on its backside all these years. The original spouts and stopper are still intact. I got cleaning instructions form some others on this site. I have done a little clean up on it but noticed when cleaning some of the painted graphic and writing are coming off. I stopped and have not done anything else with it for fear of making it worthless. My bid question is does anyone have an idea what it might be worth and then if feasible whether try and have it professionally cleaned. Ive attached several pic. Any questions just post. Thanks in advance for all your help.
