Buried in the mud on the beach at the site of a settler cabin built on a previous Indian site... the folks here intermarried early and their descendants still live in the very small community. It is hand made, you can tell by the unevenness of the finished shape. But the holes are precise, made I guess with a brace and bit. The hole at the top connects with the hole in the middle. And the cut on the side seems purposeful, with (screw holes?) on each side. I would appreciate any and all guesses... It is about 8 inches high.
