I was supposed to meet up with my friend and a new guy this morning. The new guy couldn't make it on time so we waited for him. Then we waited a little bit more. Finally we decided to go to a local school until the new guy shows up and we can go to where we'd planned.
15 minutes after arriving at the school I had this nice Platinum ring in my hand. =)

It's amazingly heavy for the size of it. It's only a size 8 1/2 but it weighs the same as a size 11 white gold ring I found last month. 9.4 grams! The white gold ring is wider and thicker than the plat as well.
Both rings are comfort fit.

I don't know how to tell the purity of the metal. I think it's .999?
It says WL PLAT. The W and the L are connected. Any ideas?
