Found this token this weekend in a yard in Houston, TX. I cannot find a picture of it on the Internet. The Token Catalog lists it saying no image is available. and that it is rare...?
It reads:
Wm BUSCHER GALVESTON, TEXAS / GOOD FOR 5¢ DRINK AT GAMBINI'S HALL
I expect it is from the 30s or 40s but I don,t really know. Anyone have one or know anything about it.

Love those tokens!

I found the Wm Buscher, Gambrinius Token listed in the Texas Token Catalog. I found Wm Bushner listed as proprietor of Gambrinius Pool Halle in the 1890 and 1894 Galveston City Directory. I see the Widow of Wm Bushner listed in the 1896 and 1900 Galveston City Directory. I think the Token is over 125 years old.
