Bought the 800 to compliment the Deus. Figured it would do better at the beach. Also needed a decent detector for my buddy to use when looking for gold while I swing the Deus. Also, I've never used multifrequency before. Figured this was a fairly inexpensive way to get my feet wet.

Thanks for letting me play. Hope I don't end up drunk and nekkid...

Waiting for Bart to slap my name on an 800 and ship it to me.

You've said it in all your post's. That's why I bought one.

www.youtube.com/mrterrysoloman well it was time to upgrade the Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro so why not go with the newest thing hitting the market. from what I've been reading and watching then it should be a very good upgrade.

I purchased a Equinox 800 last Saturday to replace my ATPro which I sold. And to also replace in the future my ETrac which is not a water machine. I plan on using the Nox as my go to machine for land and water.

I had just about purchased a max to upgrade from an ace300 when I heard about the equinox. I'm on a whait list now. The multiple frequencies and simple things like built in rechargeable battery wone me over.

I thought I would get one, then I realized that right now I don't even "know" my machine, so I am going to wait until I am more proficient with the current beast before I get the NOX (I will eventually), the simultaneous multi-freq is what I find the most interesting.

"www.youtube.com/mrterrysoloman" need a beach machine Thanks Terry
