Does anyone think that the statements by the gun manufacturers and distributors may be a smoke screen in order to cover the lack of preparedness in relation to keeping up with the current influx and demand in regards to the shortage of weapons and ammo that has been currently expressed by the Citizens?

I also think a lot of these manufacturers do not sell to state or federal agencies. Easy to say they will not sell to a state agency when that state agency is not buying from them!! Notice that none if these people have said that they are currently selling to the X state police force and we will no longer be selling to them.

In the end its free marketing for them and they give up nothing. Best.

Would you be mad if you found out that the companies weren't doing any biz with the folks they are now "boycotting" and it was just an advertising ploy? Or would that not matter?

Just another little tidbit;

Recently the city of Burlington Vt. passed a very controversial law banning the ownership and pocession of para-military weapons and high capacity magizines, against both the US and the state constitutions. In response to this action, the gun range the allowed the city police dept. to use their range, has recinded that permission.

I only see more of this happening , as it should, if well intentioned people keep trying to rewrite of laws, and micro-manage the documents that the country was founded on! Luckily, we still have the ability, and the right to stand up to our elected officials by putting them in the unemployment lines each election day. Seems to me that must be why they keep extending benefits!
