will someone help me newbie to dowsing needing property dowsed

How does stuff get 3-5' deep?

There are a couple different ways a coin can end up so deep. Besides being intentionally buried as a cache, farmers plow fields (1-2 feet), old cellar holes which over time fill in some. Old foundations may have a new structure to replace the previous, exavation in general could put the coins deeper. Flash flooding with mudslides, land developement with bulldozers, fill dirt or topsoil hauled in dumptrucks, digging for septic systems, etc.

Green circles in this pic could be Native American. Green Xs all types of archaeological or old stuff. Red circles loose coins/treasure.

Here is a picture of the top red circle of the third 1 you dowsed any specifics I have seen some people take close up shots of spots you marked

Hi, you're welcome! The coins are a mix of clad and 90% silver within the range of your metal detector. I was concentrating on silver which would reveal the small amount of silver clad copper. The possible coin cache area depth on those is about 2 feet deep.Jon

Yes, my dowse revealed 90% silver coins and clad as well. On pic 3 from the top I wouldnt say its a large amount.
Pic 2 from the top revealed more.

I had to take a couple days off the dowsing, to get caught up on work at home. Have a lot of garden stuff right now. I should be able to get back at the dowsing soon.

These are the 2 white circles we have been discussing

Hi outlaw75,just printed out the 2 new pics. I wanted to let you know to hunt a wide area in the vicinity of my circles I put on the vertical pics. They are not 100% on location and the horizontal view locations are off a bit as well.Jon

I was all day yesterday, podding garden peas untill late last night. Had them all come almost at once in 2 days, the other day was on Monday. There were a couple smaller pickings before that, parents have their hands full, with what is really too much garden, for them to handle....plus both hit their 80s now.

i understand that, my parents been out of town for weeks and im taking care of their garden and mine, im glad i can help them as im sure you are at helping yours, hey i posted 3 pics under that big tree it was your top circle on the only property i have been able to hunt on the ones you have dowsed so far, can you get a more precise x marks the spot type reading with the close up pic i posted versus the large google earth pic

Dowsing is simple.

Cut a willow fork with limbs the size of your pinky fingers or so. Arms about 22 inches and an overall length of about 29 inches when finished trimming. Leave the bark on it. Do not let it dry out; putting it in a soda bottle with water will help while you are in transit to the area(s) in question.

Now to put the willow to work, simply pinch the two Y ends of the finger limbs between your thumbs and pointer fingers as the fork hangs straight down aiming at your toes. Now apply some pressure to the limbs with the rest of your fingers and slightly rotate your wrists outward some until you acquire a bowing effect with spring action between your hands.

Now raise your fork up ahead of you to about nose level. Be sure to keep equal spring action between your hands and the fork. A gold coin or ring in your lips will work if that is the element you seek. Slightly flexing the arch in the fork arms will sustain a floating sensation in the limbs and this is where the willow comes to life; that is if there is something to be had within your reach. Empty your thoughts, relax and let the willow work with mother earth and the elements. Slowly turn 360 degrees until you get a sensation similar to hooking a fish on a pole; it will be directional. Follow up with a double box detector or other if necessary.

In time, one will outgrow the need for a stick or a coin as predominate feeling will evolve in you. I have developed a reach of over 5 miles on the approach as time has gone by and retained the directional pull without sticks or samples in use.

I would suggest starting with a pure silver coin.

The 2 red circles, top left 3 feet or less deep. Bottom right, much weaker signal, close or near surface, some type of silver, seems to be coins. Green circle, junk or old stuff, possibly a couple coins, not sure how deep, the depth could vary a lot.
