I have a bunch of old ammo here for you all today, most of which does not have any headstamps, which makes me believe they are very old. I am hoping someone here can help identity them for me, and possible give me a date range as to when they were made. Im going to start with a photo of two old casings here on top, and post the others below as I get to them, so scroll down because there is more. Thank you
Also keep in mind that these all came from the same old homestead in Southern Arizona, where I have found other contemporary artifacts, such as old Papago Indian trade pottery sherds from the late 1800s/early 1900s, broken cork top bottles from the same time period, other old ammo which I have already dated or will be posting here to show you guys (such as shotgun shells, military/wartime made ammo, and other casings with old headstamps). I also found an old Mexican centavo from 1903, and the old Great Seal Button that I recently posted a "thread" for.
First one:
This first one is what appears to be a .44 round without a headstamp, with what appears to be the same size of bullet above it, only that one says "WRA Co 44 WCF" on it. The only other difference between the two that I can see, besides headstamps, is that the one on bottom (without headstamp) appears to be rounded around the bottom edge, unlike the WRA one that is perfectly flat on bottom.
Any info on either of these two rounds would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
