Why you don't want to run a high disc on the CoRe...video

Here ya go, watch as the dime opens up more and more as you lower the disc on the CoRe. Listen to as much as you can stand and your finds are going to go up considerably. The machine let's you know whats there to further investigate the good target. I would think you might be cutting your finds back as much as 50% running a real high disc. just walking over the good targets. A lot of people are running high disc on the Turkish machines some as high as 40, here's why not to do that.

I think this is true with most detectors with discrimination and is the reason some have a notch function that eliminates the audio in a range without effecting detection.

I've been running at 40 disc and have been digging a lot of 51s which all were pieces of can slaw. Have stopped digging 82s to not dig pennies. I think I'll go back to 25 disc and digging 82s. Scanned a silver ring at 82. I liked my notch disc on coinmaster gt. I would like to hear where some gold rings have came in at. Thanks for advice and happy hunting.

So what are you thinking? That if we lower the disc down then those higher numbers we are seeing ate going to come out to be something else now? Confused a bit. I can see how this demonstrates us blocking out targets and I plan on lowering my disc down now
