i go every thursday to get my coins, the big guy normally goes to get it, sometimes he is off and if he is they tell me to come next day friday... but now the younger guy is going to get me my coins apparently and he told me his schedule and he is off thursday...

why would tellers switch who gets me my coins? they want me to quit?

april 11-23 i will be on a cruise, so when i come back i wanted to go a bit nuts with this coin hunting thing... any banks i shouldnt try? am figuring putting 2k in chase, citibank, wells fargo, td, b of a. most likely start with chase and wells fargo and then expand... how will i keep track of my amounts of money i got and account numbers lol...

It depends on the size of the bank. I just had my pickup bank switch vault tellers and now I see a different teller to pickup the halves but the date has stayed the same. In the past if the teller was out I would offer to come back, sometimes they said yes other times they said that they can get it for me.

In general some banks only want a few people with access to the vault. Since it usually requires two keys they probably do not want to pull another person off the line to get your coins if they are busy. You might want to ask what is a convenient time to pickup the coins.

It's the "vault teller". that switches from time to time, and at many banks ONLY the vault teller can take the boxes out of the vault. the others can not accesss it if that teller is not in.

that's a strong probability of what it is. :-)
