🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Hunting rocks, milky quartz but now where?

Searching for terminated quartz-, found a pocket with these whopper.milky and slight purple on one. Took awhile to get it out!! Do I search same spot higher or lower or walk a mile and look for terminated? Idk where to go from here. Thanks!

A little more info. may help.
Are you near a creek bank, river bank, steep hillside, etc?
Normally I look up to higher ground, as most things are drawn downhill due to rain, gravity and vibration.
I also tend to look upstream, if near a creek or river, for the same reason.

Hello and yes, near a stream and some forest uphill. The ones I've found aren't points but a vein I've pulled a whopper chunk and I'm hoping to find points. How far off usually is where points may be along a vein? Thanks

It will depend on a lot of factors: erosion, flooding cycles, activity in the area and soil type to name a few.
I’d start at the uphill side/end of the creek and work outward in concentric circles. Ground probing (with a steel rod) may be helpful.
