Unfortunately, you are focusing on the wrong aspect of comparisons about this case, the Zimmerman case, or even the Marley Lion case.

The reason the Zimmerman case is national news is because there was no clear answer (regardless of whatever your personal beliefs may be, this is an undeniable fact). Some people adamantly say he was guilty others say he was not guilty. Some say he was a victim, others say he was a murderer.

This case you posted is about horrendous street crime - as was the Marley Lion case. In both instances, the GENERAL PUBLIC can clearly see that "criminals shot an innocent victim" and should be punished thusly. In the Zimmerman case, this comparison cannot be made.

Sadly, street crime is so prevalent and so ingrained into our society that stories of no constroversy but merely street crime are not news worth enough to go beyond local news.

Your wrong, there was a clear answer and we got it from the trial and from the jury...the local police department had the clear answer from the beginning...this man should have never been on trial...that's not my opinion...that's the truth.

The police chief that was fired who has 30+ years of police experience and who is also black said there was no evidence to arrest Zimmerman with. You HAVE TO HAVE EVIDENCE that gives you probable cause to arrest someone.

When someone claims self defense you have to have EVIDENCE to refute their claim of self defense, eye witness, conflicting evidence, something, you can't just arrest them....

The jury proved the police chief was correct, and proved we were correct, it was self defense. He never should have been arrested, they never produced any evidence to refute self defense under the law.

It was purely political to push the gun agenda and deflect attention away from the numerous scandals adminstration is up to their neck in...

The IRS scandal among others is going to come roost on the White House door step..
