I like gldhunter's deffinition of ideomotor response except for one thing. If you're sitting in that biker bar dressed in a Brooks Brothers suit, it is more aptly described as an idiotmotor response! Monty

Hey Gldhntr......Scientist have used Idomotor Response to explain Dowsing for years. It's just a way for them to say " I don't know ". When presented with facts and tests that prove Ideomotor Response doesn't control all Dowsers they resort to name calling and try to make fun of us. With all their Brain Power they can't except the fact that it works for us. It maybe the fact that Dowsing is so simple and is a cheap tool that it confuses them. Everyone have a Merry Christmas and look forward to a great new year...Art

yeah art i know......you post the real facts, backed up with factual proof, to the dowsing god, he either will refuse to acknowledge the post, zero in on a small portion that has nothing to do with the point being made, or simply type in some garbage, put it in quote, with your name on it.......monty, thats why i usually wear my same old worn out jeans/tshirt/boots combo and arrive on an american made machine that looks ridden instead of trailered........only brooks brothers suits i have seen were worn by lawyers getting my speeding/loud pipes tickets dismissed............ho,ho.......................gldhntr
