New member and less than a year into detecting, love it. Third detector on its way! Let me know if anyone would like to connect for a hunt. Best find so far is .88 oz specimen. One of Gerry's trainees. Give a shout.

What part of Idaho are you in? I'm in Lewiston. If you're close we can connect
Hey guys. You gotta link to what you are talking about? I'd like to know where this is going down.
Hey! au id digger! I'm in Mountain Home. I've very seldom seen anyone swinging a detector since I've been here (3/2007). I haven't been detecting much for several years, but am getting ready to as soon as the weather is suitable. This is the first time I've ran across this site. I started in 1980 with a BH 840. I now have a BH 840, a Tracker 2D/707, a Tracker IV, and a Lone Star. As I stated, I haven't done much detecting for several years, and need to practice a lot. I used an old BH 840 back in Waco, TX in the early 1980s. Since then I have used it and the Tracker 2D about 8 or 10 times. Only about 5 or 6 times here in Mtn. Home. The old 840 is on the 'blink', but I bought another one because I've always loved them so well.
Give me a shout sometime. Maybe go get a cup and yak a while. I'm 71 yo and don't get around very fast anymore; but thought MDing might be some good exercise.
