Adam Jorgenson -- Sorry, I've been politicing.
Nope. Politicking for whom? Nevermind, none of my beeswax. (but I am curious)
Clue: My big thrill is whooping it up when I get a good catch. I'm from New Jersey and I was born in 1972.
You're not nosey. If I didn't want you to ask. I wouldn't have said anything. :)

I am running for City Commission (City Council in some places) in our town of about 25-30 K. -- Nicholasville, KY --

Hopefully, I'll be on the ticket in the November (It would be an interesting ballot to be on too.)

Hey is your mug there with your views --good luck-- it hard running for office--had a family member ran for a county office once there was some really bad things done by his opponent!

Thanks dearest TT.
I think being on the same ballot as Obama or Hillary will make my it a historical event, either way a sample ballot is going into my political scrapebook. :P

I expect I'll be here with some regularity.

I do have to find out about primary etiquette. Our primary is May 20. Right now there are 9 of us vying for 8 spots on the November ballot and then it will be the top 4 vote getters in November that get to serve on the city commission.

My dilemma is: The school system that I just retired from is having the retirement dinner for all new retirees at 6 pm on May 20 and the polls close at 6 pm on the May 20. SO...I need to know how important it is to be at the court house as opposed to my retirement dinner. Hmmm ?

I know there will be some counting, but it should be very obvious who the low man will be early on. If I turn out to be the low man and out partyi somewhere, the might question my integrity. Also, the same if I finish in the top at.

I was thinking rabbit in one hand and hare in the other. Now that reminds me of what they say about guys with hair on the palm of their hands.... LOL nevermind.

Hmmm, what a predicament. Most of those retirement dinners don't start on time because people are busy BSing and drinking and so forth. So maybe you could be at the courthouse for the results, then make a cautioned mad dash to the retirment shindig? Better to be late to the party, IMHO. Afterall, that job is already a done deal - you're retired!

That was my line of thinking too. But, I think my sister may be "secretly" inviting other family members to be there. Maybe I'll let her know I wont be going and the secrets will ave to switch days or something. I'll figure something out...heck I wanna be a politician...I can figure something out. :)

Geez, you're already starting to sound and act like a politician. Heaven help your city. LOL ;D I presume those positions are not about political parties, but are you fiscal conservative or a spender?

Well, it's a non partisan race. However, I am a registered Democrat, BUT I am pretty conservative when it comes to wasting money.

Michael Iaconelli, yeah u did make that one pretty easy. i started to do some lookin the other day with all the fish clues, but i got side-tracked.

Here we are. This one is not so easy, but if you think along the right lines it could be. This person was the very youngest to win something very special in 1915.

nuh uh, i only got 1 dime. Plus, it was your idea. But i promise as soon as i lose a wager ill pay it. I usually only gamble when i play poker, although i have been know to make small wagers here and there. It all depends on how right i think i am. Wont wager if there is a chance i am wrong. i know better than that.

lol its ok, i dont mind gettin free silver. I promise i dont. So if you ever feel that you have too much feel free to send some my way. :)

Just so you know ill make itty bitty wagers with ya every once in a while to give u a chance to get your silver back. Just let me know when u are up to it.
