They are not loaded but can be ready for battle instantly thanks to a well trained crew.

As we pull the anchors I notice a strange ship lurking on the horizon, This is not one of our ships but seems to be going the other way so we have now set sail for the destination on the map I have enclose a picture of the ship in the distance for your records.
Ill check in as need be

Day 2 on the way to the treasure, we left after the man of war left.
all is going well calm seas and with any luck we will be there tomarrow.

Day 3 Daylight Breaks and we notice a ship in the distance heading strait for us and gaining

Through my scope I see she has 22 Cannons 10 on each side an 1 front 1 rear so far she has not poseed a threat
should we
rais more sails and try to out run her
Or
Arm the cannons and prepare for battle

She is still gaining and has fired a shot and nearly hit our bow.
She is catching up fast
I have taken the liberty of loading the cannons and all crew standing by for battle

should we fire back at her ? or wait till she is along side us for more accurancy

load both sides cannons .bring your most acurate cannon crew to the rear cannon .load and take careful aim see if the can hit her front mast
