I can't help on that detector but I had to buy another MXT for a backup in case mine ever needed sent in for repairs so I wouldn't be without a MXT, I use it as a loaner as well and couldn't pass it up I found it at a pawn shop 3 or 4yrs ago and only paid like $230.00 tax and all. The detector even came with a soft case and for that price I could have resold it and made money, it's nice to have an equal backup so the only advantage I have over my friend using it is me knowing the detector better of course that's big when it comes to detecting. The TreasurePro has a few good features in its price range... the auto ground balance, DD coil and easy to read display make it not only easy to use but also a great bang for the buck. For what you want to do it would be a very good choice. :)

Let me know if we can help you get one in your hands.

I use the F44 as my backup and love it. I take it to parks sometimes over my more expensive detectors and it is my go-to detector when it rains.

I was not a fan of the treasurepro. I didnt like the tones and the big dd coil was too heavy. It also had a lot of shaft wobble without camlocks. It was however plenty deep and I liked the display
